BETBY fuels player engagement with ePadel Tennis and eSumo

BETBY has added two new products to its roster, adding to the ongoing expansion of its esports portfolio and launch of its prediction markets platform.

It has added both ePadel Tennis and eSumo to its platform this week, describing both of the new products as offering fast-paced and high-frequency play designed to boost player engagement.

Similar to its other product launches, the ePadel Tennis and eSumo products have been designed to replicate the real world dynamics of both sports, with the former built around the principles of “speed and intensity”.

ePadel Tennis will cover more than 15 betting markets, with zero-second bet acceptance and instant settlement. The sumo product, meanwhile, aims to capture the dynamics of traditional Japanese sumo. Each sumo match consists of 10 rounds, with around 18,000 events delivered each month.

Kirill Nekrasov, Head of Innovation and R&D at BETBY, commented: “Creating original content has always been central to the vision behind Betby Games, and ePadel Tennis and eSumo are two clear examples of how we continue to introduce new sports and formats to the betting industry.

“Padel is one of the fastest-growing sports worldwide, and ePadel Tennis gives operators the opportunity to offer dedicated, high-frequency content built specifically around its growing audience.

“When it comes to eSumo, it brings an entirely different dynamic, transforming one of Japan’s most iconic sports into a fast, clear and engaging betting experience. Both titles strengthen the variety of our portfolio while giving operators a constant stream of unique content designed to keep players engaged 24/7.”

Betby.Games, the Malta company’s esports division which the eSumo and ePadel Tennis products will fall under, forms an important part of its overall business growth strategy and is regularly cited as a key growth driver in its quarterly earnings reports.

Its last quarterly report outlined a 28% year-over-year increase in gross gaming revenue for Betby.Games, driven by a 46% increase in active player numbers and 14.8% increase in placed bets.
