Boxer Tyson Fury has denied any involvement in gambling as several sites claim they have officially been endorsed by the Gypsy King.
In an Instagram post, Fury said he has “nothing to do with any gambling apps, nothing to do with any online casinos” and “there is nothing that I am connected to that is related to gambling.”
Fury Taking Legal Action Against Scam Sites
Fury said he was alerted that several sites are using his name and image, claiming he is an official partner of their online casino. One site, Tyson Fury Casino, claims that the boxer gambles on the platform and encourages users to sign up for its special bonus offer.

Fury warned users not to click on any sites using his name as they are fake and “they will scam you and hack your phone, your bank, and your personal data.”
“My legal team is already taking stringent, aggressive action alongside cyber-security experts to hunt these fraudsters down and dismantle their tracking networks,” Fury added.
Boxer Turned Down Millions to Promote Gambling
Fury has never promoted any gambling site and says he will never accept the industry’s money. He said that he has “explicitly stated for years that I will never advertise gambling” and claims to have turned down “millions of dollars to do gambling stuff.”
With high-profile fights often taking place in casinos in Las Vegas, the link between boxing and gambling is strong. Fury says his own struggles with addiction mean he will never promote the activity.
“Alcohol, drugs and gambling is a no-no for me because I have come from those dark places and I don’t want to return,” he said in a 2022 interview. “I wouldn’t want anyone else to return there so I could benefit from a few extra dollars in my account.”
He has previously admitted to gambling as a form of release after a fight. Following a 2019 fight against Otto Wallin in Las Vegas, he said, “I went to the hospital, had a few stitches, went home and had an early night. Then I’ve got up, gone to the casino, won five grand, had a few beers and now I’m going to have a few more beers.”
He has spoken publicly about his mental health struggles and stepped away from boxing for long periods. He said clean living and faith in God helped him overcome past destructive behaviors.
Scam Sites Often Use Celebrities
The phenomenon of using a celebrity to promote a fake gambling site is not new. Several sites have claimed to be official Amazon casinos and used Jeff Bezos‘ image to promote their platforms.
Other scams have used Drake. With the rapper actually promoting gambling through a relationship with Stake, users may be more likely to believe his endorsements are genuine.
A quick Google search for a celebrity’s name and “casino” often reveals an unsolicited site. We found Messi Casino, Cristiano Ronaldo Casino, Conor McGregor Casino, Donald Trump Casino, and Elon Musk Casino. None of the sites appears to be endorsed by their namesakes.
Fury said users should remain vigilant of possible scam sites. “Keep your guard up, look after your money, and stay safe,” he added.
