Macau March casino GGR up 15pct y-o-y, at US$2.8bln: govt


Casino gross gaming revenue (GGR) in Macau rose 15.0 percent year-on-year in March, to reach MOP22.61 billion (US$2.80 billion), according to data released on Wednesday by the city’s Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau.

The March result was up 9.6 percent compared to February’s MOP20.63 billion.

The latest monthly data took the aggregate GGR for the first quarter to MOP65.87 billion, up 14.3 percent on the same period in 2025.

Banking institution Citigroup said in the March edition of its monthly survey of baccarat premium play in Macau that the observed volume of high-value players had been up from a year ago. Citi added at the time it had seen a year-on-year improvement in average wager per premium mass player.
