Best Bet on NFL Season Win Totals

Here is our best bet to make on NFL season win totals.

Dallas Cowboys OVER 9.5 Wins (+100)

We have faded the Cowboys recently, and under bets have cashed the past two seasons, with Dallas winning just seven games. during each season. Prior to that, the Cowboys reeled off three consecutive 12-5 seasons.

Dak Prescott, who is entering his 11th NFL season, has publicly stated that making the playoffs is the bare minimum expectation for the Cowboys. Dallas has missed the postseason the past two seasons.

“It sucks,” Prescott said. “Definitely. But we’re pushing. That’s our goal, that’s a minimum. When you have a team like this and they’ve done everything they have in the offseason, obviously, we got to push and get better on offense, but when we know we’re already improving on defense, that’s the minimum. That’s everybody’s goal in here.”

Prescott and the offense did the job last season, as the Cowboys were a top-7 team in averaging 27.7 points per game. Dallas has one of the league’s top wide receiving duos with Cee Dee Lamb and George Pickens. Both enjoyed 1,000+ yard receiving seasons last year.

Javonte Williams is also a weapon out of the backfield. After four years in Denver, Williams made his debut in Dallas last season. The former UNC star rushed for 1,201 yards and scored a team-high 13 touchdowns.

The concern centers on a Dallas defense that allowed the most points in the league last season, at 30.1 ppg. There is good news on that front, however, with new defensive coordinator Christian Parker coming over from Philadelphia.

Dallas also added DT Quinnen Williams in a mid-season trade last November, and he made an immediate impact on the D-line. The Cowboys won their first three games after Williams joined the squad. He recorded 1.5 sacks, seven tackles, and 19 pressures during that span.

First-round draft pick Caleb Downs is expected to bolster the secondary at safety. The former Ohio State star was taken No. 11 overall.

Linebacker DeMarvion Overshown enters his third NFL season and is a force when healthy, but he struggled with injuries last season and only played in six games. As a rookie, he ranked second on the team in tackles (90) and third in sacks (5) despite missing four games.

Dallas has made significant improvements to its defense. As a result, back the Cowboys to finish with double-digit wins for the first time in three years.
