Gaming testing laboratory and technical consulting company BMM Testlabs has named Michael Minor (pictured) as the company’s senior vice president and North America market leader, overseeing business development.
In his new role, Mr Minor “will lead land-based gaming sales strategy and customer engagement across the region, helping expand BMM Testlabs’ presence and strengthen relationships with manufacturers, suppliers, and operators,” the firm stated in a Wednesday press release.
Mr Minor is described as having “more than 20 years of leadership experience” in managing business development teams, client engagement, and sales strategies, as well as “in-depth knowledge of gaming technologies”.
He previously held senior-level roles at United Kingdom-based technology company Nexteq Plc, financial services firm Pavilion Payments, and gaming equipment maker and content provider International Game Technology Plc (IGT).
The announcement cited Kirk White, BMM Testlabs’ global president for land-based gaming and inspections, as saying that Mr Minor is a “respected leader with deep experience across the North American gaming market”.
Mr White added: “He understands our customers, knows how to build strong teams, and has a proven track record of delivering growth.”
Mr Minor said he was “excited” to join BMM Testlabs as the gaming industry “highly values what BMM is offering for compliance and quality assurance services”.
