ChatBet partners with iSolutions to scale conversational betting across Africa

ChatBet, the conversational betting and transactional messaging platform, has partnered with iSolutions to expand access to AI-powered betting experiences across Africa and other emerging markets.

The partnership will allow operators using the iSolutions platform to integrate ChatBet’s conversational betting technology, enabling players to discover markets, build bet slips and complete betting journeys through WhatsApp, Telegram and web or app-based chat widgets.

The collaboration is designed to help operators reach players through the channels they already use, while reducing the friction associated with navigating traditional sportsbook apps and mobile websites.

Africa represents a particularly strong opportunity for conversational betting, with messaging platforms already playing a central role in how consumers communicate, transact and engage with brands.

By combining iSolutions’ platform infrastructure and regional operator relationships with ChatBet’s conversational conversion technology, the companies aim to make betting more accessible, intuitive and locally relevant.

Partnership targets Africa’s mobile-first markets

Josh Swerdlow, founder and CEO of ChatBet, said: “iSolutions gives us a strong platform partner for expanding across Africa and other high-growth markets.

“In many of these markets, messaging is already the primary digital interface. The opportunity is not to force players into another app, but to allow them to discover, engage and transact through conversations they already understand.

“This partnership will make it significantly easier for iSolutions operators to add conversational betting as a new acquisition, engagement and transactional channel.”

Filippo Ceci, co-founder and director of iSolutions, added: “Our policy at iSolutions has always been to integrate the best products available on the market, based on the choices of our clients and supported by our consultancy.

“Our operators drive their own business strategies. Our role is to support those choices with the right technology and the right partners.

“The partnership with ChatBet reflects exactly that approach. Conversational betting is particularly well suited to Africa and other mobile-first markets, and we are pleased to make the technology available across our operator network.”

ChatBet and iSolutions are already working together on an initial operator deployment, with further launches expected across the platform’s network.

ChatBet seeks to reshape digital betting

In April, Bola Group announced the launch of the conversational betting platform ChatBet, stating it was the first of its kind in Africa.

Bola Group CEO Hilton Hasson described the launch as a significant milestone for both the company and the broader African betting industry.

“Our teams have spent six months working on something that has never existed in Africa before,” Hasson said. “WhatsApp is already in everyone’s pocket, data costs make traditional platforms a barrier and sports betting in this market is still massively underserved digitally, and Chatbet solves all three.

ChatBet first launched in Zambia, though the company plans to launch in additional markets in the future with Zimbabwe and Malawi already identified in its expansion plans.
