Light & Wonder Inc’s “Dual Strike” blackjack table game product with progressive jackpot capability is available in the Asia-Pacific region, the technology supplier has confirmed to GGRAsia.
The product (pictured) was mentioned in a recent social media post. It will be shown by Light & Wonder at the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) Asia casino industry trade show and conference at The Venetian Macao next month.
Dual Strike “is currently available and we are now working with a few properties to roll it out over the coming months, “said a Light & Wonder spokesperson in response to a GGRAsia enquiry.
It is “part of our GM Atlas table games progressive solution,” added the person.
Per previous statements by the supplier, GM Atlas is a table progressive operating system developed by Light & Wonder, designed to manage and enhance jackpot systems for casino table games.
The spokesperson stated regarding Dual Strike: “Casino operators have requested this unparalleled flexibility for additional revenue opportunities where they can operate two completely separate games on a single table.”
Examples of Dual Strike’s capability were it being able to offer the company’s “Blazing 7s” live-blackjack side bet – and its “TriLux” blackjack side bet – via the same table.
This helped in “maximising table utilisation and attracting a wider audience,” said the Light & Wonder representative.
The person added: “This offers more choices and varied gameplay, keeping players at the table longer [and] maximising the use of existing tables without requiring additional physical assets.”
