Best Bets to Win NFL MVP

Josh Allen (+809)

Allen will have to overcome a difficult schedule to win the award. Buffalo’s roster is also questionable, with several new starters and a scheme on defense under new coach Joe Brady. DJ Moore was added to bolster the receiving corps, but he was a shell of himself last year with the Bears.

Check out the first five games the Bills will play this season:

  • Bills at Texans
  • Lions at Bills
  • Chargers at Bills
  • Patriots at Bills
  • Bills at Rams

Allen usually finds a way to shoulder the load with his arms and legs. He led all NFL quarterbacks with 14 rushing TDs last season.

Justin Herbert (+900)

Justin Herbert is an intriguing bet in this market.

Herbert threw for 3,727 yards and 26 touchdowns a season ago. He also rushed for more yards (498) in a single season and added two scores on the ground. He did all of that during a season that saw the Chargers ravaged by injuries.

Herbert played a long stretch without both OTs and RB Omario Hampton last year. With Los Angeles healthy again, Herbert could see a surge in numbers this season.

Lamar Jackson (+900)

Lamar Jackson is coming off an injury-riddled season, but we need only look at his 2024 campaign to see his potential for this season. He threw for 41 TDs and 4,172 yards with just four picks. Jackson also ran for 985 yards and four TDs.

We’re bullish on Baltimore’s chances to win the AFC this season. Should that occur, it will likely be because of Jackson having an MVP-caliber campaign.

Joe Burrow (+900)

Here’s another AFC North quarterback who was plagued by injuries in 2025. As with Jackson, Joe Burrow was off-the-charts good in 2024. He led the NFL with 4,918 passing yards and 43 passing TDs.

Cincinnati has one of the most explosive WR duos in Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins. Only Jared Goff has a higher OVER/UNDER passing yards total entering this season. Burrow’s is set at 3,999.5. If the 29-year-old plays a full season, he’ll shatter that mark based on history.

Burrow’s played three full seasons so far:

  • 2021: 4,611 passing yards
  • 2022: 4,475 passing yards
  • 2024: 4,918 passing yards

Injuries, of course, always play a role in who becomes the NFL MVP. Here’s wishing good health to all of the top contenders in this market.
