Pennsylvania sets revenue record with reopening of casinos in April

In April, Pennsylvania’s gaming revenue totaled $404.1 million (£284.9 million/€331.0 million), up 776.2 percent from the same month last year, when casinos shut due to coronavirus restrictions, and slightly ahead of the record set in March.

Retail slot games were the most profitable, bringing in $201.3 million. Whereas retail table games brought in $77.8 million. Both formats’ online counterparts experienced significant growth. Online slot revenue increased by 129.2% to $62.6 million, while online table revenue increased by 812.0 percent to $26.3 million.
