The hidden infrastructure of high-load business: Inside RedCore’s tech stack

For high-load businesses, almost every operation depends on external systems. A payment transaction passes through card issuers, crypto processing, KYC services and exchange rates, and each provider has its own API and its own logic for processing statuses.

A message reaches the user only if the messaging provider operates without disruptions and the route is not blocked in the region. Anti-fraud systems need to filter out malicious actors, but strict automated blocks affect conversion. In regulated markets, communication with government authorities is added to the equation.

Under high loads, a failure in any of these links immediately affects the business’ revenue and reputation.

From internal tools to external products

RedCore is a business group that develops and implements innovative solutions for digital markets. The business group has more than ten years of experience in one of the most high-load and highly regulated industries of the digital economy. When solutions available on the market did not meet its own requirements for speed, stability and security, RedCore developed its own technologies.

A number of these technologies are now being developed as independent RedCore brands and are available to the market. The business group tells iGB it is proud to have turned tools initially designed to solve its own problems into externally-facing products.

Each brand covers a specific area of high-load business: payments, anti-fraud, message delivery, traffic management and marketing. Together, they provide 360-degree coverage of business needs and offer distinct proprietary solutions to the market.

FinTech infrastructure: multi-provider payments for high loads

No payment product exists in isolation. Behind every transaction are dozens of external providers: card issuers, crypto processing, KYC services and exchange rates. All of this needs to be brought together into a single system that operates predictably under any and all conditions.

RedCore’s FinTech solutions are built around three engines. Card Engine works with any card issuer through a single interface. Crypto Engine handles crypto transactions, risk scoring and exchange. Balance Engine is a system for accounting for and controlling internal balances and transactions.

Each engine is designed so that connecting a new provider requires only one integration layer, while the business logic remains unchanged. If one provider drops out of the chain, the system does not stop, RedCore says; traffic is redistributed without loss of funds or time. The SRE team monitors the status of all external connections in real time and responds to failures before the problem reaches the client. Every transaction undergoes risk scoring in real time.

Anti-fraud with real-time user behaviour assessment

In iGaming, e-commerce, payments and trading, anti-fraud systems operate in an environment with a high speed of transactions. Strict automated blocks protect against malicious actors but also affect legitimate users and reduce conversion. Frogo, a fraud prevention and risk management platform developed within RedCore, is based on the presumption of user innocence.

The system assesses user behaviour in real time at every stage of interaction with the service. It uses flexible scoring triggers that adapt to new attack schemes without increasing the number of false positives.

“True anti-fraud is about protecting your bottom line”

Frogo identifies users using Device Fingerprint, based on signals from desktop and mobile devices. Scoring Engine analyses events through risk policies, and companies can configure rules according to their business logic and regions of operation. The Graph-Based Forensics module shows connections between entities and makes it possible to identify multi-accounting, CPA abuse, and fraud rings/clusters in just a few clicks. The behavioural data collected by the platform is available to risk management, product, marketing and retention teams.

This approach shifts anti-fraud from investigating incidents after the fact to proactive protection. According to the Frogo team, this helps businesses protect margins and reduce operational routine, including when entering new markets.

“True anti-fraud isn’t about blindly blocking users or chasing artificial metrics,” explains Volodymyr Todurov, CEO of Frogo. “It’s about protecting your bottom line.

“We built Frogo as a revenue optimisation system that catches complex risks instantly, letting honest businesses scale with complete confidence.”

Simplified platform for customer communication

Companies that work with a single messaging provider depend on its stability: an outage or regional blocking can result in lost OTP codes and disrupted marketing campaigns. CommsHub, a platform for bulk messaging and service notifications developed within RedCore, combines SMS, messengers and flash calls in a single system and works with multiple providers at once. The platform is designed for high-load industries where message delivery is critical, including FinTech, iGaming and e-commerce.

CommsHub CPO Viktoriia Yefimenko tells iGB that traffic is automatically distributed across a network of verified senders. If one provider experiences disruptions, the cascading function redirects messages through another route. Numbers are verified in real time. In this way, CommsHub ensures stable message delivery while simultaneously optimising routing costs.

“The ideology behind CommsHub is to make the complexity of communication infrastructure invisible to businesses”

All customer communication channels, such as SMS, flash calls and messengers, are connected under a single contract and managed through one interface. Campaigns can be launched immediately through the web interface, while full API integration takes up to 10 days. Delivery statuses and costs are visible on the dashboard in real time. Each client is assigned a dedicated manager who assists with connection, route testing and scaling.

CommsHub simplifies work with contractors and helps maintain profitability when entering new markets, Yefimenko says.

“The ideology behind CommsHub is to make the complexity of communication infrastructure invisible to businesses. We do more than just bring SMS, messengers, and Flash calls together on one platform. We not only give you the full freedom to choose the best routes, scale easily and control all your communications in one place — our smart routing systems also actively save you money by optimising every single message and call.”

Predictive model for traffic assessment and dynamic postbacks for web

Before significantly increasing a traffic budget, a partner needs to understand whether a launch is worth scaling. PIN-UP Partners, a global affiliate programme and direct iGaming advertiser within RedCore, uses its own predictive model for this assessment.

The model analyses accumulated data and assesses the potential of a launch. Its results provide the partner with additional information for making a choice: whether to continue the test, change the approach or increase volume. The model’s purpose is to reduce the number of decisions made blindly and give the partner more data before increasing the budget.

The second solution relates to how advertising platforms and traffic acquisition mechanics are changing. Platforms are introducing more automated audience optimisation, making it increasingly important for partners to correctly send back the events on which the algorithm is trained.

For web traffic, PIN-UP Partners has already prepared dynamic postbacks that will be integrated directly into the affiliate platform.

The feature emerged against the backdrop of expected changes at Facebook, RedCore says. The platform is moving towards greater automation of targeting: advertisers will have less manual control over audience selection, while Facebook itself will play a greater role in determining who sees ads and how campaigns are optimised.

In this model, the events Facebook receives back after a user is acquired become especially important. These signals help the algorithm understand which audiences deliver higher-quality results and use this information to further adjust ad delivery.

PIN-UP Partners’ dynamic postback makes it possible to automatically send such events back to the advertising system. Partners will not need to develop their own technical infrastructure for this separately as the required functionality will be built into the PIN-UP Partners platform.

In terms of logic, this is similar to the approach already used in In-App: the advertising system receives data on users’ subsequent actions and uses it for optimisation.

The practical value of the feature is that PIN-UP Partners is preparing its web infrastructure for Facebook’s changes in advance. Once the new model is implemented, partners will be able to test campaigns with more automated optimisation faster and will not need to spend time on separate technical development on their side.

Retargeting and control of branded search results

An acquired user does not always reach conversion and deposit, while traffic from branded search queries can be intercepted by affiliates or competitors. These are the challenges addressed by mr.Booster, a full-cycle marketing agency for iGaming, FinTech and Web3 brands within RedCore. The agency runs display and performance advertising across social media and websites, retargeting, technical SEO and creative in-house production, while also developing its own technology products.

“We know how to enter new GEOs, how to protect a brand from traffic interception and how to get the most out of every channel”

Retarg is the mr.Booster team’s programmatic DSP platform for audience retention and re-engagement. Retargeting campaigns and display formats are launched from a single dashboard. The platform includes a pixel, audience segmentation and detailed targeting settings, while budget and statistics are visible in real time. Retarg’s goal is to bring users to deposit and increase LTV. According to the team, this makes it possible to significantly reduce the budget spent on acquiring new users.

The team’s second proprietary AdTech product, BrandDuck, monitors a brand’s presence in search results. It shows when affiliates or competitors intercept traffic from branded queries and helps quickly identify such risk points. This allows businesses to retain their traffic and reduce potential losses. Currently, BrandDuck is available only to exclusive partners. Starting from the second quarter of 2027, access is planned to be expanded to SEO and affiliate teams, brands and operators.

“A brand doesn’t need ten different contractors, each responsible for a small piece of the funnel,” Pudov notes. “It needs a reliable partner who understands the business as a whole, from creative and media buying to analytics.

“We work with verticals where the stakes are high. We know how to enter new GEOs, how to protect a brand from traffic interception and how to get the most out of every channel. mr.Booster covers the entire cycle, which is why campaigns scale quickly and predictably, without losing control at the points where different contractors overlap.”

The technologies thatRedCore originally built for its own needs now operate across key areas of the digital economy: from financial and marketing technologies to e-commerce, platform-based B2C services, communications and regulatory solutions. Each brand within the business group offers partners its own technologies and expertise in its respective field, thereby helping them grow in new markets together with RedCore.
