Top Contenders to Win 2026-27 Premier League Championship

Arsenal (+163)

Arsenal will have to overcome some challenges to claim back-to-back titles. Center back William Saliba suffered a back injury while playing for France in the World Cup. Saliba, who won’t need surgery, is expected to be out for several months in rehabilitation.

“Extensive assessments have concluded that surgery is not recommended, but William should now commence a managed recovery programme,” the club said in a statement. “William’s rehabilitation will commence immediately, with continual management of his injury, and he is expected to be out of action for an extended period.”

There are also fitness concerns surrounding England national club member Declan Rice, who may require rest after playing 5,000 minutes for Arsenal and England last season.

Manager Mikel Arteta said that Swedish striker Viktor Gyokeres will return to Arsenal despite rumors about a possible trade to Atletico Madrid. That’s important as Gyokeres led Arsenal with 14 goals last season. The club was reportedly interested in a deal for Julian Alvarez and might still pursue a trade for Vinicius Junior from Real Madrid.

England’s Bukayo Saka will be another key piece on offense, after scoring seven goals last season.

Manchester City (+317)

Manchester City enters a new era as Enzo Maresca takes over for Pep Guardiola as manager.

Man City brought England’s Elliot Anderson into the fold as part of a £116 million deal. He’s expected to bolster the club’s midfield.

Norway star Erling Haaland headlines the offense after leading Man City with 27 goals last season. Haaland made a run at the Golden Boot during the 2026 World Cup, scoring seven goals to pace Norway.

France’s Kylian Mbappe finished with 10.

Chelsea (+669)

Chelsea paid a record £117 million to acquire Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers, making him the most expensive British player ever.

Joao Pedro will try to build off his fine first season after leading Chelsea with 15 goals. Englishman Cole Palmer also returns after scoring 10 goals last season.

Here is Chelsea’s potential 4-2-3-1 lineup:

ST: Joao Pedro

GK: Robert Sanchez

RB: Reece James

CB: Maxence Lacroix

CB: Levi Colwill

LB: Jorrel Hato

CM: Moises Caicedo

CM: Enzo Fernandez

RM: Estevao Willian

AM: Cole Palmer

LM: Morgan Rogers

Chelsea will try to win its first Premier League tile since 2017.
