Following the passage of Arizona’s sports betting bill (House Bill 2772), ArizonaCasinos.com estimates that the state will generate $252 million in annual revenue at full maturity.
Using the 8% minimum tax rate outlined in Arizona’s bill, the estimate will result in $20,160,000 in annual tax revenue for the state General Fund.
Up to 20 different sports betting operators could provide betting platforms in Arizona under the landmark sports betting bill. Tribal casinos, sports franchises, and sporting venues in the state will be able to apply for operating licenses.
