Clarion Gaming has announced its decision to postpone the third edition of ICE Africa. It was initially set to take place from October 26 to 28.
Clarion is returning to in-person events in a measured and pragmatic manner, according to the announcement.
Stuart Hunter, Clarion Gaming’s Managing Director, outlined the decision.
“When the exact extent of the pandemic became clear last year, we decided to focus our energy and efforts on three in-person events. Namely, the co-located ICE London and iGB Affiliate London, and also iGB Live! in Amsterdam.”
Hunter further said that Clarion Gaming is looking to reach out to the global gaming world in multiple ways.
“While we will not be hosting any other dedicated in-person activities. But we will be launching ICE365.com, an advanced global gaming platform, in April 2021.”
“The ICE 365 content series will concentrate on main verticals, topics, and segments of the global gaming industry. It will include dedicated Africa-focused content over the year too.”
Hunter also added, “It will deliver expert insights in various formats, including reports, exclusive C-Level interviews from business leaders, exclusive data, video, and live meetings.”
“Every piece of content will be recorded and accessible on-demand for stakeholders to view for free of cost round-the-clock.”
“With the launch of ICE Connect, which uses highly advanced matching formulas, ranking, and scheduling software to match operators with appropriate, industry-leading service providers who can solve their problems and help them perform more efficiently, has strengthened our strong digital presence even further.”
