Gauteng Gambling Board CEO Steven Ngubeni is on precautionary suspension by the gambling board’s administrator, advocate Fana Nalane.
The Gauteng Gambling Board said in a statement that they informed the CEO of his suspension on Wednesday.
Moreover, Nalane emphasized that the suspension meant a precaution. “This is a precautionary suspension following the GGB’s Disciplinary Code and Procedures,” Nalane explained.
When the Gauteng Gambling Board board was unable to reach a quorum due to several resignations during the previous fiscal year, Gauteng Economic Development MEC Parks Tau appointed Nalane as administrator in April.
