Sabine Monauni, the Economy Minister of Lichtenstein, has announced that the tiny country plans to execute a matching deal with Switzerland before the summer to share blacklists on banned casino players.
This agreement still needs to be approved by the Swiss National Council and Council of States, as well as the Liechtenstein Landtag. There are now six casinos in Lichtenstein.
Currently, players who are banned in Switzerland or Liechtenstein could continue to play in casinos in another country. With more and more casinos in Liechtenstein, however, the topic of blacklists has increasingly become a topic of discussion. There are currently no negotiations with Germany and Austria on similar cooperation, as the foundations for this have so far been lacking in both countries.
