According to a state study, Indiana is well-positioned to allow online gaming.

Pennsylvania

According to a 103-page analysis from the Indiana Gaming Commission released on Tuesday, legalizing internet casino gaming, or iGaming, would result in a “pretty easy procedure” and hundreds of millions in tax income.

That’s because Indiana authorized online sports betting three years ago, breaking the barrier for digital gaming.

According to consultant Spectrum Gaming Group, which carried out the study on the state’s behalf, Indiana stands to receive between $341 million and $943 million in taxes from iGaming over three years, depending on the rate decided.

However, there is also worry that approving iGaming could have a negative effect on the earnings of the current Indiana casinos.
