Gaming and sports betting operator DraftKings has expanded its relationship with the PGA Tour. It will include Arizona market access and plans for a ‘19th hole’ sportsbook experience at TPC Scottsdale.

The expanded commercial partnership gives the group market access for retail and mobile sports betting in Arizona. It follows the state legislature passing HB 2772. It would legalize fantasy sports and sports betting in the state pending action from Governor Doug Ducey.

“When DraftKings became the first official betting operator of the PGA Tour, various possibilities came in to innovate together,” said the chief business officer at DraftKings.

Above all, DraftKings, the official daily fantasy game and an official betting operator of the PGA Tour, says that multiple locations will open at TPC Scottsdale for the retail sportsbook. The project is being actively worked on. It would also boost the local economy, tourism, and charitable giving.

Senior Vice President of Media and Gaming at the PGA Tour said, “We are excited to work with DraftKings to explore a unique sportsbook experience. ‘The People’s Open’ is one of the most attended events in golf. With this launch, we look forward to taking the fan experience to a new level.”

Hence, DraftKings will now become the exclusive sports betting partner of the Waste Management Phoenix Open at TPC Scottsdale.
