Arizona professional sports teams and Native American tribes on Monday will be able to apply for state sportsbook licenses, and regulators anticipate competition for some of the licenses.
State officials can almost certainly choose the winners and losers.
Director Ted Vogt stated that the Arizona Department of Gaming will file final rules for sports and fantasy betting. This is with the help of the Secretary of State’s Office.
