Operators remain confused after the Arizona Department of Gaming indicated it would notify event wagering operator applicants of their status. The majority of the six Arizona operators partnered with professional sports teams/franchises and aiming for a Sept. 9 launch say they are still waiting for the approval as they prepare to go live soon.
Bally’s, BetMGM, Caesars, DraftKings, FanDuel, and Penn National Gaming (Barstool Sportsbook) all have market access in the state via high-level professional sports teams or franchises. But none are certain of their status.
