Bally’s has completed its previously announced merger with Gamesys Group after receiving all necessary regulatory approvals and shareholder approvals.
Former Gamesys CEO Lee Fenton will take over as CEO of Bally’s following the transaction’s completion.
Former Bally’s CEO George Papanier will lead Bally’s land-based casino business as President, Retail, and former Gamesys COO Robeson Reeves will lead the company as President, Interactive.
Fenton, Reeves, and Jim Ryan, a former Gamesys Non-Executive Director, have also been named to Bally’s Board of Directors.
According to Bally’s:
‘The combination complements the growth and diversification.. over the past 18 months. Gamesys’ proven technology platform will foster… continued buildout of its interactive offerings in North America, including real-money gaming options in Online Sports Betting and iGaming.
