Bally’s Corporation announced the acquisition of Telescope, a provider of real-time engagement solutions for live events, on Thursday.
Telescope, headquartered in Barcelona, Spain also offers gamified second screen experiences and interactive live streams. Telescope’s products and services will enhance Bally’s Interactive, Bally Bet, and Bally Sports. This will provide more integrated experiences for viewers and players.
Telescope’s products will enable Bally’s customers to access content across multiple platforms and channels, including online and offline. Hence, Bally’s will be able to attract a younger demographic and expand its customer base.
According to Telescope’s Chairman Jason George, there has been a significant shift from television to digital video across over-the-top and social platforms over the last two decades.
