Entain has announced its intention to apply for a Dutch gaming license, stating that when the market opens tomorrow, it will cease all igaming offerings to Dutch players (1 October).

Entain confirmed in a statement that it had completed the “cooling off” period mandated by Dutch gaming regulator Kansspelautoriteit (KSA) in conjunction with the Dutch Remote Gambling Act (KOA), and that it would submit its application for a Dutch gaming license by the end of 2021. Entain also announced that it will stop providing services to players on October 1st, the day the market reopens. The operator added that this would have a £5.0 million per month impact on earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization.
