Betsson Group has released its interim report for Q2 2021, revealing that group revenue increased by 14% and organic revenue increased by 24%.
Betsson’s revenue from April to June was SEK 1.75 billion ($202 million). Operating income (EBIT) increased by 76% to SEK 383.4 million, with a 21.9 percent EBIT margin.
While sportsbook revenue increased by 125%, casino revenue fell by 5%, the only area in which the operator saw a decrease. Net income was SEK 337.9 million, and shareholders approved dividends of SEK 3.68 per share at an annual general meeting. Operating cash flow also increased by 25% to SEK 570.7 million as active customers increased by 25%.
Furthermore, during the second quarter, the group acquired a 50% stake in JDP Tech and a 35% stake in Strive Platform.
