South Africa Rugby has added gambling firm Betway to its sponsorship portfolio. It has named the brand as the governing body’s and national team, the Springboks, associate sponsor for the next three years.
The Betway logo will appear on the South African team’s shorts. The company will also receive on-field and perimeter branding at home matches for the current rugby union world champions.
Moreover, SA Rugby chief executive Jurie Roux believes the agreement will help expand the game’s reach and growth, saying. “We are excited to partner with Betway as this will extend beyond the four white lines of a rugby field.”
