As the number of visitors to Las Vegas continues to rise, so does traffic congestion. Given this, tourism officials hope that the underground transportation system, known as the Vegas Loop, will be a game-changer.
The Vegas Loop would connect downtown Las Vegas to the resort corridor and eventually to McCarran International Airport.
However, no plans to begin construction on the proposed 15-mile dual-tunnel system have been submitted to Clark County.
