Century Casinos has announced that its operations will resume on June 10, 2021, at Century Casino & Hotel Edmonton, Century Casino St. Albert, Century Mile Racetrack and Casino, Century Downs Racetrack, and Casino, and Century Sports Calgary.
Casinos in Alberta shut on December 13, 2020, to comply with quarantine imposed to contain the spread of COVID-19. The regulation lifting the casino lockdown includes social distancing practices as well as improved health and safety protocols.
According to the company, “there is no guarantee that the Alberta government will not require additional closures in the future. However, The Company’s casinos in the United States and Poland are now open. But if the status of the company’s casinos changes in the future, the company will post the information at www.cnty.com.”
