The Council of Ministers has appointed Ms. Ann MacDonald to the position of Chair of Loto-Board Québec’s of Directors. She will take over for Ms. Hélène F. Fortin, who has held the position since 2008.
“On behalf of the Board of Directors, I would like to congratulate Ann MacDonald on her appointment. Ms. MacDonald has been a member of Loto-Board Québec’s of Directors since March 2019. “With her appointment, she was able to put her skills and strategic vision to work for the Crown corporation,” said Jean-François Bergeron, President and Chief Executive Officer of Loto-Quebec.
Ms. MacDonald, a business administration graduate of HEC Montreal, is also a member of the Project Management Institute of Pennsylvania and the Laval University College of Corporate Directors.
She also worked as a senior advisor for VIA Rail’s train fleet renewal program before joining BONE Structure as COO in 2019. Ms. MacDonald has served on the boards of several organizations, including the Conference Board of Canada and the Canadian Urban Transit Association.
“I would also like to express my gratitude to Hélène F. Fortin for her dedication to the Company. She has also always shown exemplary rigor by implementing best governance practices,” Jean-François added.
