Canada: No bluffing allowed when British Columbia casinos reopen July 1 – face-up cards only

British Columbia

When casinos reopen in British Columbia, there will be no dice. When casinos reopen after a 15-month closure, players can only play card games dealing with face up.

However, reminders of the ongoing pandemic will be evident throughout the casinos.

“Players also cannot touch cards except for Squeeze Baccarat, which utilizes one-time use cards,” the B.C. Lottery Corp. said in a Wednesday release.

In addition, there must be at least two meters of space between slot machines and other gambling equipment. Additionally, plexiglass barriers will separate dealers and cash-cage personnel from players.
