A pair of companies suing the state to stop a crackdown on unregulated slot machines grouped their resources to donate $350,000 to six political action committees linked to a controversial lobbyist.

Torch Electronics and Warrenton Oil made donations to MO Majority PAC, Missouri Growth PAC, Missouri C PAC, and few others.

Moreover, each PAC has ties to Steve Tilley, a lobbyist and former state legislator who serves as a fundraiser.

Also, Tilley’s lobbying firm represents Torch, which owns slot machine-style games in locations across the state.
