G2E Asia is on the move, with the event moving to Singapore in 2022 from its customary home of Macau. “G2E Asia Special Edition: Singapore” will be the name of the event.
The event will be held in Marina Bay Sands from August 24 to 26, 2022, according to organizers Reed Exhibitions and the American Gaming Association, as announced today on the G2E Asia website. This event will take the place of the previously announced trade show, which was set to take place at The Venetian Macao from August 30 to September 1, 2022.
According to IAG, the shift to Singapore is just temporary, with the objective of returning to Macau once travel and border restrictions are relaxed. It’s likely that this will happen in time for the 2023 event, which would presumably take place in May.
The announcement is the latest in a series of modifications to G2E Asia’s schedule, which was postponed twice in 2020, first from May to July and then from December to January, before being canceled entirely. The exhibition was later rescheduled for May 2021, then pushed to August, November, and then August 2022.
