Gaming Hall of Fame now accepting nominations for Class of 2021

Gaming Hall of Fame

The Gaming Hall of Fame recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to the gaming industry. The Hall of Fame includes father and son Bennie and Jack Binion, who helped popularize the World Series of Poker; William Harrah, the founder of the gambling empire that bears his name; and also Sam Boyd and his son Bill, founders of Boyd Gaming.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there was no class last year. This year’s class will be the first since 2019 as they chose Elaine Hodgson, co-founder, president, and CEO of Incredible Technologies; Stanley Mallin, real estate, hotel, and casino developer; and Ernie Moody, president of Action Gaming and creator of Triple Play Poker.

In a statement, American Gaming Association President Bill Miller said, “It’s been one of the most difficult years in our industry’s history.” “Throughout it all, I have been in awe of those who have paved the way and trailblazers who have left their imprint on gaming.
