The German brand Bet-at-home published its financial report for Q1 of 2021. A new sports betting license will soon launch on the German market.
By 1 July in Germany, a new state gaming contract is in force. It will provide a national licensing system for online slots for the first time in the country.
Moreover, Bet-at-home says that the company has lost 5.5% of its gross betting and gaming revenue annually, to €30.5m ($36.5m). It was mainly due to a “transitional regulation.”
The new regulation laid down different requirements altering German licenses and exempting some from enforcement measures and sanctions.
