Pickering Casino Resort, Great Canadian Gaming’s newest property, has opened for business.
Once the COVID-19 restrictions ease, the property will have around 2,400 slot machines and just under 100 live table games. It will also have 140 live dealer stadium gaming terminals and 10 dining options.
The casino will feature a gaming floor and food and beverage amenities in the first phase of the property’s opening. But it will operate with reduced occupancy levels to comply with physical distancing requirements.
“The opening of the casino at Pickering Casino Resort is yet another step towards our company’s recovery from COVID-19’s impact. This creates another 600 jobs in the Durham Region in this first phase of the property’s opening,” said Terrance Doyle, the company’s CEO.
