Grosvenor Casinos

Grosvenor Casinos has introduced The Grosvenor Casino Gaming Academy. It is a six-week program that teaches non-gaming employees about popular casino games.

Employees will learn casino terminology such as odds and payouts, the proper way to spin the roulette ball, and even times tables up to 35 during the first two weeks to help members cope with the speed of casino play.

Members will practice games like blackjack and poker in weeks three through six. It will cover more advanced techniques required in casinos.

They will learn how to deal, collect cards, and announce bets or hands in games. They will also learn how to manage customer pressure and provide a high level of service while playing.

Members of the team will also learn how to spot cheat moves and how to open and close tables.

“Here at Grosvenor Casinos, we pride ourselves on offering our team members the chance to progress their careers with us; when we make a hire, we are committed to giving them the best possible chance to progress and have a career, not just a job,” said Jonathon Swaine, Managing Director at Grosvenor Casinos.
