Begbies Traynor, BetIndex’s insolvency practitioner, began the process of allocating funds to former Football Index customers at a hearing in the Royal Court of Jersey.

Following the initial failure of the Football Index, the company is now the BetIndex’s insolvency practitioner. It began processing customer claims against the company in April.

Furthermore, BetIndex confirmed in a statement that the initial hearing to distribute funds would begin on May 10th.

The Football Index Player Protection Trust Account currently has £4.5 million in it. And now it is Begbies Traynor’s responsibility to distribute it appropriately among former Football Index users.
