By establishing an online gaming offering in both the Province and City of Buenos Aires, the Betsson Group has bolstered its foothold in the LatAm market.
Betsson has been granted regulatory approval to start an online gaming business in the region, which is still relatively new to digital forms of betting, in conjunction with Casino de Victoria, a local land-based operator and a subsidiary of Grupo Mautone.
The alliance between the two operators is seen to be able to take advantage of the nascent online market by combining Betsson’s digital competence with Casino de Victoria’s local familiarity.
Betsson’s CEO, Pontus Lindwall, made a statement.
