A new report confirms what most of us already knew. The COVID-19 pandemic wiped out Southern Nevada’s tourism industry to the tune of $34 billion.
However, a 22-page report that the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority principal commissioned at Las Vegas-based Applied Analysis quantifies the extent of the damage.
Also, the pandemic resulted in a $34 billion drop in total economic input considering direct, indirect, and induced sources.
