DraftKings, FanDuel, and PointsBet are no longer accepting bets on Russian or Belarussian sports leagues or events.

DraftKings was the first to disclose the removal, which began today, in a tweet on Thursday afternoon. DraftKings further stated that no sports organization, team, or league in either country has a direct business affiliation with it. Later, FanDuel informed LSR that it was shutting down the same markets. Later Thursday afternoon, PointsBet revealed its conclusion. The Ukraine flag was at the top of the DraftKings Twitter message. The prohibition applies not only to DraftKings’ US B2C operations but to all of the company’s global B2B businesses as well.

SBTech, a sports betting technology platform, was bought by DraftKings in April 2020. The firm has a presence in Kyiv, Ukraine.
