The Marina Bay Sands (MBS) casino has reopened after a two-week closure. The casino closed due to a Covid-19 infection cluster discovered on July 21.
MBS said that its casino has taken precautionary measures for the reopening, including an enhanced testing regime for employees.
“Under our enhanced Rostered Routine Testing (RRT) program, guest-facing staff must go under PCR swab testing frequently. But it depends on their vaccination status and job risk profiles.”
MBS also stated that “temperature screening will be performed prior to entry into the casino” and that “limitations on the number of patrons in private salons and at each gaming table. Whereas electronic gaming machines and slots will be placed at least one metre apart.”
