The Merkur UK Initiative to recognize smaller community-based charities and good causes. They will initiate trial across ten high street venues. The first awards will declare by the middle of the month. Moreover, the pilot’s findings will be incorporated into a phased national roll-out that will begin almost immediately.
Lola Wood, Customer Experience Manager, Merkur UK, believes that Merkur Slots and Merkur Bingo brands are important for their communities. “Most people immediately associate Bingo Clubs with the term ‘Community,’ but the same also applies to our 180 high street entertainment venues,” she said.
“These are the places where friends can gather and socialize in a safe and familiar environment. The MERKUR Initiative also builds on the profound connections that exist between venues by identifying local ‘not for profit’ groups.”
