On October 23, the stars descended on Mohegan Sun for a special 25th Anniversary weekend. On October 21 and 23, Harry Styles and Blake Shelton both put on incredible performances in the award-winning 10,000-seat Mohegan Sun Arena, and Blake Shelton also brought the house down on Friday, October 22.

The legendary 325-seat Wolf Den, which opened in 1996 as Mohegan Sun’s first music venue, also hosted an epic first-time performance by Run DMC. Following the Harry Styles concert on Saturday, a late-night VIP 25th Anniversary After-party was held in the new TAO Asian Bistro & Lounge, where Mario Lopez, Serena & Joe from ABC’s Bachelor in Paradise, Melissa & Joe Gorga, recording artist Teyana Taylor, and many others walked a special Red Carpet before entering the TAO After-party.

Madison Beer gave a special performance at TAO Asian Bistro & Lounge’s 25th Anniversary celebration, which was DJed by the popular DJ Ruckus. Other notable visitors included The Bachelorette’s Jason Tartick and the Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Margaret Josephs and Dolores Catania.

The Mohegan Sun Arena concerts set the tone for one of the most thrilling and star-studded weekends in the casino’s history. RUN DMC’s Wolf Den concert on October 21st was the first time this iconic hip-hop group performed at Mohegan Sun, and Harry Styles’ show on October 21st was the first time this legendary hip-hop group performed at Mohegan Sun as a solo artist. In 2016, as part of Mohegan Sun’s 20th-anniversary celebrations, LL Cool J performed in the Wolf Den.

Since its inception in 2001, Mohegan Sun Arena has welcomed over 13.5 million visitors and hosted a number of historic events, including Michael Jordan’s pre-season game with the Wizards in the fall of 2001, and the Fight of the Century, in which Micky Ward defeated the late Arturo Gatti in the first battle of what would become an all-time boxing trilogy on May 18th, 2002.

During its 25-year run as the East Coast’s finest integrated resort destination, Mohegan Sun has grossed more than $27 billion and welcomed more than 9 million visitors every year. TAO Asian Bistro & Lounge, located in the Sky Tower Lobby, offers a world-class dining experience, and the all-new Mohegan Sun FanDuel Sportsbook is now open at Bow & Arrow Sportsbar! In mid-October, MoheganSunCasino.com (+ iOS and Android applications) announced the debut of online casino games. This fall, sports betting became available at the Mohegan Sun FanDuel Sportsbook on-site at Bow & Arrow Sportsbar, as well as online through a collaboration with America’s #1 Sportsbook, FanDuel.

This month, Mohegan Sun’s award-winning online TV series (BackofHouse.TV) returned to give viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the historic opening of Mohegan Sun Casino at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, as well as how Mohegan Sun Arena pulled off the massive NCAA “Bubbleville” Basketball tournament in the fall of 2020, and more.
