Morocco is updating its tender rules and looking for a lottery and sportsbook operational partner.

Morocco

Morocco’s state-owned lottery operator, La Marocaine des Jeux et des Sports (MDJS), has released an amended procurement notice seeking bids to operate its lottery, sports betting, and gaming activities.

MDJS notified lottery stakeholders throughout the world in January that it would be holding an international tender to find a new operating partner for its flagship LOTO Maroc and Cote & Sports brands.

MDJS needs a new operational partner after Intralot SPA stated last year that it will terminate its Morocco supplier relationship as part of the Athens-based technology group’s ongoing reorganization.

MDJS has extended the tender submission deadline for participating proposals from 4 April to 31 May 2022, as part of an update to the tender timetable.
