PlayStar announced bet365 Head of Casino Dan Alexander as its new COO. The challenger online casino brand is set to launch later this year in New Jersey.
Alexander joins PlayStar after three years as Head of Casino at bet365. Alexander’s responsibilities at the former include bringing the company into new global markets. He will also manage a team in charge of over ten international gaming licenses.
“Dan brings a wealth of product, operational, marketing, and industry knowledge to PlayStar. I am glad to welcome him to the team,” said Per Hellberg, CEO of PlayStar. “With his great managerial skills added to the mix, we have the perfect set-up to take the next steps in our exciting journey to become New Jersey’s number one casino brand.
Alexander will use his previous experience to “build the foundations of the brand’s online casino product”. He will also play a key role in growing the PlayStar team with “more of the industry’s brightest minds.”
