Playtech has announced a partnership with Swiss operator Casinò Lugano to release its products and apps. The company seeks to gain traction in an “exciting growth area”
The new multi-year partnership with Casinò Lugano’s Swiss4Win.ch brand will become the first platform in the merged Italian-Swiss area. To go online with Playtech’s information management solution, Casinò, and live Casinò content.
“We are delighted to partner with Playtech. It will help us bring the progress of Casinò Lugano into the online market” said Gianmaria Frapolli, CEO and board member at Casinò Lugano SA.
“As we join the online market for the first time, Playtech’s industry-leading technologies and expertise will help us bring a profitable and creative online Casinò o platform to our customers.”
Casinò Lugano SA, dubbed “the most famous and oldest Casinò o in the Italian-Swiss region,” is Playtech’s most recent long-term partner. It will further expand its footprint in the Swiss market.
“The continued development and growth of Switzerland’s online Casinò sector in the last few years makes it an exciting growth field for our Casinò and live Casinò o offering,” said Shimon Akad, Playtech’s chief operating officer.
“Live Casinò is a brand leader vertical for Playtech. And we are excited to collaborate with Casinò Lugano to deliver our data-driven, omnichannel IMS platform. It will help boost the growth of the country’s emerging online market.”
This collaboration for Playtech comes after the company revealed the “new milestone” in its burgeoning US road-map earlier this week. It was when it opened the doors to its first live Casinò o studio in Michigan.
Playtech has secured a long-term lease for the Southfield-based property, and the Michigan Gaming Control Board approval. It was after identifying the US as a key region of opportunity earlier this month.
