A theft scandal in South Korea: An amount of KRW13.4bn, the equivalent of 11.9mUS$, was missing from a safe inside Landing Casino Jeju Shinhwa World. Results appear after that the thief was a casino employee and was working under the same company.
Investigations around the theft in Landing Casino Jeju have been running by the special Self-Governing Provincial Police of South Korea. These researches came out leading to identify 3 suspects’ accomplices. Arrests were facing these suspects by the Korean court. The International Criminal Police Organization is filling and has commenced the wanted actions against them.
Jeju authorities are continuing with efforts to track down a former employee of Landing Casino in South Korea. This employee is being accused of stealing KRW14.56 billion (US$13.4 million) in December, but even if they find the thief there is no guarantee the casino’s operator, Landing International Development Ltd, will have its funds returned. This scandal has affected the firm badly.
