Entain’s Foundation has extended its long-term partnership with SportsAid to provide funding to the most talented young British athletes up to and including the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris in 2024.

The Entain Foundation will more than double its financial support for SportsAid. This brings its total financial commitment to around £500,000 by Paris 2024, making Entain one of SportsAid’s largest corporate partners.

The announcement comes as the Paralympic Games begin in Tokyo. Approximately one-quarter of Entain-SportsAid recipients are para-athletes aspiring to compete in future Paralympic Games.

Overall, 165 of the 227 Paralympics GB squad members in Tokyo have received financial assistance from SportsAid during their careers. Since Rio 2016, 48 of the SportsAid alumni named to represent Paralympics Great Britain in Tokyo have received assistance from the charity.

Entain first collaborated with SportsAid, a charity dedicated to supporting the next generation of elite British athletes, in 2018. Entain supports over 50 aspiring athletes in England, Northern Ireland, Wales, and Scotland each year. Each athlete will receive an annual financial contribution to help with training, competition, travel, and equipment costs.
