According to the findings of independent market research conducted by Explore on behalf of Clarion Gaming, 75% of ICE attendees – more than two-thirds of whom are based in continental Europe – believe that London is the right host location for ICE.
The findings, based on responses to an online survey cited ease of travel (61%) and convenience for international visitors/exhibitors (59%). While the rest cited the ability to attract the right mix of customers and suppliers (53%). These were the needed key benefits of hosting the world’s most popular international business-to-business gaming expo.
The reason cited among the 10% of respondents was that London wasn’t the best host city. It was specifically because of the regulations and export considerations. More than half of this group (51%) preferred Amsterdam as a potential alternative host.
