On June 7-9, executives from major worldwide sportsbook providers will assemble in London for Betting on Sports Europe 2022.
The conference and exhibition will be held in Twickenham Stadium, the home of English rugby, rather than its long-term home at Stamford Bridge.
More than 200 top executives and specialists will attend the conference, which will focus on both near-term opportunities and long-term developments in the industry.
Mathias Dahms (CEO of Merkur Sports & Gaming), Charles Lee (CEO of Kwiff), Jason Trost (CEO of Smarkets), Paris Smith (CEO of Pinnacle), Alexander Martin (CEO of SKS365), and Ian Turnbull are among them (EVP Betting & Gaming, DAZN Group).
The FIFA World Cup in November is one of the important issues on the table, as is how trading rooms, marketers, and cybersecurity specialists are prepared for what is expected to be a period of high demand from players.
Experts from a variety of providers, including Paddy Power, Entain, BetVictor, Smarkets, and Virgin Bet, will contribute to the Road to Qatar conference track.
The event will include content on the future of horse racing, golf, and basketball betting, as well as advancements in markets such as the United Kingdom, Sweden, and Germany, as well as the most recent developments in the domains of integrity, sponsorship, and player safety.
Away from traditional sports, there will be a full-day track dedicated to the esports betting sector, with insights on how operators should approach this expanding market and target the various demographics it attracts.
Rasmus Sojmark, Founder and CEO of event organiser SBC, commented: “2022 is a huge year for the sports betting industry, with a packed programme of sporting events and the possibility of regulatory change in some key markets.
“We have all the big issues covered on the agenda, so whether you are interested in how to make Qatar 2022 a success for your business, the latest technology, what changes to regulation mean for your company, or how to streamline an esports betting offering, you can expect to benefit from expert insights at Betting on Sports Europe.”
