BetMGM is establishing its first relationships in Arizona by partnering with Gila River Hotels & Casinos and the Arizona Cardinals for retail and online sports betting.
BetMGM intends to bring its industry-leading platform online once sports betting becomes legal in Arizona. The company also intends to open retail sportsbooks at the three Arizona Gila River properties as well as at State Farm Stadium, the Cardinals’ home stadium.
“Arizona sports fans are passionate, and we are confident they will enjoy the BetMGM experience,” BetMGM CEO Adam Greenblatt said. “Gila River Hotels & Casinos and the Arizona Cardinals represent the state’s premier casino destinations and sports franchises, respectively. This makes them ideal partners for us.”
Gila River Hotels & Casinos operates three Arizona locations, all owned by the Gila River Indian Community. They are, namely, Wild Horse Pass, Lone Butte, and Vee Quiva. All three will feature custom-built BetMGM Sportsbooks, which will open in time for football season.
