Vicente Di Loreto, the chief executive of Codere Group, will step down later this year, and two co-CEOs will take his position on July 1.
Di Loreto, who has been the company’s CEO since January 2018, will continue to serve on the board of directors and as a senior advisor to the Codere management team. Di Loreto managed the company’s restructuring procedure, which culminated in the Madrid-based gambling operator being taken over by creditors in November 2021. He has stated that he expects to spend more time to his family and personal initiatives.
Codere announced plans for a transition that will see Di Loreto hand over his executive duties to Alberto González del Solar and Alejandro Rodino beginning in July, pending shareholder approval.
